Wedding Wednesday: Save the Dates
Wedding Wednesday: Save the Dates
So this is a post about save the dates. The predecessor to sending out invites. Obviously, with the wedding almost 6 months away, we have sent out our save the dates.
These are my save the dates. They are super simple. The design doesn’t have a name but you can find them here. They have so many other designs.
- Picture: You can choose to have a photo or not. I decided on just words. When you add a picture it may up the price of save the dates.
- Magnet: You can choose to have it on regular card stock or on a magnet.
- Foiled: You can add foiled parts. You have the option of gold, rose gold, or silver for most. Then you also can have foiled words.
- Cardstock: Standard matte, premium matte, premium gloss, etc.
- Horizontal or Vertical: Do you want it to be landscape or portrait.
- Style: You may want rustic, romantic, etc. You can pick from so many styles…
The most important thing in this process is to find something you love that is in your budget. You can find save the dates in a very large price range. I found some of the more cost-effective places are Esty and Vistaprint. My save the dates are simple. They have a leaf design on the top and bottom. We kept them simple and elegant because our wedding is supposed to be rustic, whimsical and luxurious.
