Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

So today I am reviewing Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer. I have been using it since December of 2015. I needed one that would cover consistent dark circles. Let’s just say this is my HOLY GRAIL concealer!

Product Details ( company claims) : Active Formula and Micro-Corrector Applicator erase dark circles, puffiness and fine lines instantly. Awarded the 2012 Gold Good Housekeeping Seal in Beauty & Anti-Aging.

How To Use ? Use applicator to apply concealer directly to under-eye area, blending in an outward motion. Wipe off excess eye concealer with dry tissue only. Do not wet applicator.

My Thoughts?

I honestly like the coverage. It has a very good brightening affect when I apply it. I first apply it with the sponge. After that I blend out with the Real Technique blending sponge. The applicator is a little unhygienic but if your cleansing you face in the morning before applying your makeup it should okay in a sense. It is possible for someone to get the wrong shade so be careful. It creates a very smooth and flawless finish. It doesn’t crease or sink into lines. Always set this with a god translucent powder for full staying power. This sets very quickly so blend fast!

Shades : For paler Caucasians can go for light or medium shade. If you want to cover severe dark circles you may try neutralizer and if you just want brightening effect go for illuminator.
Texture : The texture is just perfect for the under-eye area. Extremely lightweight yet covers the worst dark circles.
Packaging : Everyone seems to hate the sponge tip. Like many others even for me hygiene is an important part. I still use the sponge tip but not for much but applying it.
Staying Power : Most concealers fade after 8 hours of use. But not this one!! It lasted me through all day at work and even through a intense workout…it didn’t crease at all.
