Life Update

Hey everyone,

This is going to be a life update. This will cover things like work, school, house etc.

The first thing to talk about is work. I think everyone knows I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of NC. I graduated from my local community college with a degree in cosmetology. I started working for a full-service salon in July 2018. I am no longer working there. I was asked to leave because I was not earning the salon enough money. Also, the owner didn’t like the fact that I was in school to continue to learn. I was unemployed starting mid-November 2018.

Honestly, it feels kind of good to have a break from working. I will be honest in this post. I wasn’t making nearly enough money. I didn’t love working there. The only time, I was excited to work at this specific salon was when I was bringing in extremely good money. I firmly believe in working somewhere you love. The funny part is I love love love doing hair. Now I am looking for another job. I honestly don’t care if it’s doing hair at the moment. I just want to be able to afford a home and essential with my fiance.

Then there is school! I am in school for Graphic Design. Side Note: The above image is my personal logo. I created that in my free time since not working. I’ve been focusing in on perfecting my talents. I absolutely love doing this type of work. I will continue to be in school until the end of summer 2019.

Last but not least, We were displaced from our apartment because of Hurricane Florence. We have applied for a couple of apartments. We applied for a townhouse. We got approved to rent it! All we have to do now is wait and then move in! We move in on January 3rd! I am so excited!

I will hopefully be doing an empty house tour on my youtube channel. Hopefully, when all unpacked I will do a full house tour. I have a lot of things planned for the new year!
