A day at a farm
I spent a day at a farm which had the usually fall theme hay rides, pumpkin patch and corn maze. This year I decided to go with some friends of course. We went to Hubb’s corn maze.
The started bright and early at 7:30 am. Of course, I don’t always get up that early…but I did that day. I went with my mom out of the house ready for the day by 8:30 am. We went and got Bojangles…we are supposed to be eating healthy but one meal won’t hurt us right??? We then headed to the local mall where my mom is part of a train club whose set-up is there. I am responsible for the website, app and Christmas banners for this years holiday train expo. So I had to go and get opinions and so on.
By 12:30pm, I was with my friend and we were heading to dunkin donuts to get a little late breakfast/lunch. I got a croissant sandwich, a cinnamon donut and a small hot chocolate.
By 1:00 pm, we were all happy squeezed in a car and heading to Clinton, NC. We took the hour to an hour and a half drive to Hubb’s corn maze. The corn maze has three mazes. A rather large horse based image maze. A smaller ship based image. As well as a tiny one. There was a hayride which took you to and dropped us off at a little animal farm area. They had the cutest rabbits ever!!! An alpaca and some other slightly less cute animals. After that we went to this pumpkin patch area which is where all the photos were taken.
Then we spent at least thirty minutes driving around looking for this Italian restaurant that we ended up finding and not going there because it looked rather fancy and we kind of smelled like BO. We settled on Ruby Tuesday’s instead where we were sat at the coldest corner of the restaurant. I got a chicken Alfredo which the pasta was good! The chicken was a bit undercooked.
Overall it was a day at a farm. The weather was gorgeous and wonderful. I had a blast!
